Experience
Dhruv started his career at Douwe Egberts, one of the world's largest coffee and tea companies, where his workdays were spent researching and market-testing coffee blends with food pairings. He later put these skills to work when he opened the Lazy Llama cafe and bar, which also let him hone his cocktail-making and mixology skills. As a food writer, Dhruv has ghostwritten books on herb gardening and healthy eating, and also contributed articles to Static Media's Foodie, Daily Meal, Chowhound, and Mashed. His reporting on traditional and new wave restaurants was recently published in The Hindu, one of India's leading national newspapers. When he's not writing, Dhruv heads into the kitchen to test out newly discovered recipes and food hacks. His cooking philosophy centers on simplicity and fresh ingredients. After his deep dive into Italian cooking, his next obsession is making the perfect bowl of ramen.
