  • While at university, Amadea took a course on French cuisine and culture that forever turned her towards the topic of food.
  • She once worked at a feed store, which piqued her interest in food provenance and distribution, for both animals and people.
  • Recently, her screenplay for a dining car drama was a student Academy Award finalist.


Amadea has worked as a journalist in the food, travel, and sustainability spaces, writing for publications such as Atlas Obscura, Beau Monde Media, and Real Leaders Magazine. She is also an award-winning screenwriter and short-story writer with a passion for exploring history in narrative form. She joined Static Media in 2023 and is happy to apply her history interests to articles in the food space, a junction of culture and connection at the intersection of past, present, and future.


Amadea has a bachelor's degree in both screenwriting and French from Chapman University.
