Tips

  • Service here is 1St Class. Shout out to our waiter Roy!
  • Visit owner Giorgios Bakastais' favorite room, the red room. Follow the link to see "Portraits of a well-loved restaurant".
  • The wine program is a standout, as are the seafood towers drawing on North Carolinas spectacular coastline.
  • brunch is such a good deal; everything is reasonably priced and incredibly tasty
  • Get the cheese plate and a bottle of wine... Perfect for a nice, relaxing night
  • Summer nighttime dining in the garden is heavenly-- just be sure to request the garden when you make reservations. Oh, and make reservations. It gets busy.
  • Great moules and croque-madame
  • The escargot here is DELISH.
  • They call it gratin-something-or-other which is just a fancy french name for "mac and cheese covered in little crumbles of bacon that tastes like heaven on a fork."
  • One of my favorite restaurants in Durham! Had the Sauted Salmon Dijon and it was DELICIOUS. It comes on top of pork braised lentils which matches perfectly. Cant wait to go back!
  • best croque monsiour ive ever had
  • Try the Murder Point Oysters, if they are available. The entire staff is well trained on all things all things food and beverage. Cheers
  • The hanger steak frites and $1 Tues night oysters never disappoint
  • Portions of the fruit salad were actually so huge I had enough left over to leave this! Will return soon!
  • They are wonderful at accommodating folks with allergies. Since I could not have dairy they served my salad yogurt / cheese free. Very hearty portion sizes for the fruit and yellow-fish tuna salad!!
  • man vs food
  • AMAZING FOOD. Ask for Brian, he is a fantastic waiter.
  • MUST get the mussels. One of the freshest I've had. The sauce is great too. Ask for more delicious bread to dip :)
  • Strip steak and surprisingly decent oysters.
