Foursquare Tips

  • Leave your dog in your purse
  • San Francisco, we don't need crappy produce wastefully wrapped in plastic. Go to Polk Street produce instead, it's roughly the same price and isn't wasteful. Bring a re-usable produce bag.
  • Bring your patience. While new, this is my least favorite one in the city. Poorly laid out, the checkout line system is a disaster; it's a clusterf**k.
  • When the lines are long...If you're shopping with a roommate or significant other, have them wait in line while you shop
  • Don't come after work - crazy long lines!
  • Two buck chuck is now $2.49!! Unprecedented.
  • It's not as awful as the other tips say, they are just whiny babies.
  • New store 'till 10pm
  • Don't forget your shopping bag!
  • The cookie butter here is to die for. Customers are limited to purchasing 3 containers each because they are in such high demand.
  • Happy staff, convenient location, now open later. Just one issue, and this goes for all locations: Trader Joe's needs to put a stop to these periodic nationwide Speculoos cookie butter droughts.
  • Try to avoid the after work rush. It's a checkout disaster post 6 pm.
  • Everybody that works here is so freakin happy & nice. Stop it!
  • Since I live in US, this is the only great grocery store where I'm able to buy great and taste food. For God sake! we need more Trader Joe's around San Francisco! :D
  • Longest lines ever. This place is a nightmare.
  • Absolute worst checkout lines
  • This TJ's is surprisingly calmer than most.
  • Come at 7pm on a weekday and wait 45 minutes in line to checkout
  • It's a grocery store, so you know what to expect. They have a limited selection, but have quirky items that you'll probably enjoy too.
