Tips

  • Get a poptart!!!!
  • Ted's has transformed the Pop-Tart into legitimate pastry. They fill handmade, almost cakey crusts with homemade jams, fresh berries, brown sugar, and peanut butter and bacon.
  • Greek yogurt parfait = heaven in a cup and don't miss their famous poptarts
  • Get an "adult milkshake" spiked with Bailey's and Kahlua at this Old-timey homey-ness on the Hill.
  • Ted's is a comfortably classy American eatery outfitted with art-deco accents taken from the 1928 Philadelphia Convention Center, including a front area decked with a green marble-backed bar.
  • This is a must go to spot. Check out the adult milkshakes.
  • Pop tarts. 'nuff said.
  • The best pop tarts
  • Food = 10, Estimating ability for wait time = 0 (dog years... "45min" was over 2-1/2 hour wait)
  • The "adult" milkshakes are killer! The staff are wonderful. Great place to bring the family or a date.
  • Great shakes!
  • This Art Deco space recalls a simpler time, when meatloaf, Sloppy Joes & grilled cheese sandwiches were enough to satisfy a hungry soul. The retro vibe is deliberate. Try the spiked Thai coffee shake.
  • Kids love the Heath Almond shakes, while adults can indulge in boozy versions like the Nutty Professor.
  • Come early on a weekday before work for a great, quiet breakfast. Go with the French toast.
  • Alcoholic milkshakes. Need we say more?
  • Ted's has some inventive burgers here including Ted's 'Burgh (an homage to Pittsburgh & Parmanti Bros.) and Drew's Peanut Butter Bacon burger (note: keep your drink close by, this thing is sticky!)
  • You must have a homemade pop tart.
  • Country fried steak is your best friend.
  • Go see Darren at the bar!
  • Two words: homemade pop tarts! It's kid-central on weekend mornings but breakfast is served up all day. Follow it up with a spiked milkshake and you're set for the weekend.
