Tips

  • Don't expect good service!
  • BBQ!! I grew up in OK, TX AND Missouri, so BBQ is a way of life. For atmosphere & food, you cant beat Spring Street. Try their brisket & bread pudding. To die for. - Marshelle Fair, DTLA - The Series
  • You want the spicy sauce. Trust me.
  • Get the burnt tips. Goes perfectly with a Rocco Red on tap.
  • Start with the cracklins & get a half rack of baby racks. Pair with any of the 8 California craft beers on tap & don't forget to leave room for bourbon st bread pudding .
  • Be Very careful with this place. The server "Brenda" tried to add a $10.00 tip to my bill without my consent but never succeed. I questioned how it appeared & she denied the act. Be careful peeps.
  • Brisket Sandwhich half mild /half spicy sauce with fries, nice!
  • Check out Spring Street Smoke House as seen on United States of Bacon
  • It's good , but could be better.
  • Not that great. Meat was dry and Mac and cheese cost $2 extra and tasted like it was made with Velveeta. BBQ sauce was good but even the Hot version was mild.
  • Your surly waitress Candice has perfected the art of passive aggressive pointing and all the subtleness of a German headmaster. The food; However, was heavenly and the beer selection Great. Watch her!
  • Homemade pickles are the shit! Beer selection is formidable. Come hungry, portions are out of control. Beans are sweet and tangy- perfect. My pork was flavorful and tender.
  • If you haven't tried the burnt ends, you're missing out!!
  • SavVy beer dude behind the counter is always helpful!
  • Try the pork rinds in addition. Yum......
  • Warning! Standards have totally dropped. Kitchen is sending out food dry and overcooked. Send it back and let chef Jason know.
  • Hush puppies to start. Go pulled pork and then remember to take some Cole slaw home!!! Oh and drink an Avery White Rascal too
  • Good beer selection, they take restaurants.com coupons!
  • The baby back ribs were great!
  • Burnt Ends, brisket, mac and cheese, beef hot links, cornbread, peach cobbler.
