  • 3rd Thur of the month is Gallery Night. Free admission, live music, cash bar and artistic coaching.
  • Free on sundays from 10-5pm
  • Great small museum with notable Impressionism, design, and Roman collections. It's easy to spend hours here since there aren't many visitors during the weekdays and you have the place to yourself.
  • Free admission on Sundays. Select one or two things to look at to not be overwhelmed (great Asian art collection!). Bring your student ID for reduced price during the week
  • Check out the Tiffany glass and Frank Lloyd Wright table (in the "Making it in America" section) and the impressive collection of impressionist canvases.
  • This museum is deceptively large. If you think a hall or stair won't lead to much, it probably leads to 3 entire galleries.
  • Admission is free on Sundays from 10-1. Check out the mummy and the Buddha!
  • New $1 million exhibit on Greek and Roman art, worth the visit alone, and if you have a RIC student ID admission is free.
  • Cool small museum. Highly recommended. I loved the student work. I mean, obviously, because RISD is like the best art school in the US.
  • Outstanding collection. Both modern, impressionist, ancient, and lots in between. Must see best thing in Providence and a lot to see there.
  • Great items in the gift shop at all price points.
  • Amazing collection (Warhol, Lichtenstein, Rothko); free admission Sundays
  • Surprising little gem of an art museum. Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso, Pollock, Warhol, and more!
  • I love art .
  • Amazing exhibits and a wonderful ambiance.
  • Cool art museum in Providence. Limited collection, but entertaining for an hour or two.
  • Sundays are free admission!
  • Beautiful and very comprehensive collection. I could spend days here!
  • Free membership for RISD alumni
  • Free for Brown students - has Van Gogh and Monet!
