Tips

  • A hands-on approach to dining, Shabu-Zen lets you cook your own food at your table in a piping hot broth. Not sure if you want beef or pork? You can cook up both, with your choice of veggies.
  • Try the Pork And Beef For Hot Pot - Thinly sliced perfect for soup.
  • This is literally the best meal I have ever eaten. And I have eaten a lot of meals. The meat is incredibly fresh. You make your own broth and it just gets better and better as the meal goes on.
  • Tom yum broth, veggie Gyoza, fruit smoothies and green tea Mochi!
  • My first time at a hotpot place. Don't freak out, the staff are very helpful. For a first time try the herbal chicken broth and the pork broth with the beef. Best of luck!
  • Vegan friendly, food is delicious!!
  • Find the tile with the maple leaf in the ceiling
  • Try the Baby Octopus - Sweet tasting baby Octopus us delicate due in part to the sesame seeds on it.
  • If you're looking for delicious, authentic hot pot, go to Chinatown. Try the Takoyaki appetizer and a side of mushrooms and fish paste. My favorite trick - ask for a raw egg to cook in the broth.
  • try the Mongolian broth. Very spicy but not over powering be careful not to eat the red chiles though!
  • I love the A3 and a Lychee Smoothie!! :D
  • Try the beef tongue. And always order Sapporo Silver.
  • Dipping sauce
  • This restaurant is serving perfectly Chineses style hot pot and foods are good enough even under reasonable price.
  • shits mad good
  • El mejor hot pot de Chinatown! Hay opcin de fondo vegetariano/vegano, todo los ingredientes son frescos y la carne buensima. El staff muy atento y amable. Nos encant!
  • Had the spicy Mongolian broth which was a good amount of spice yum! The premium meat is expensive with not a lot of meat - would go for the regular meat dishes.
  • The Thom Yum & Kimchi broths are my favorites. Adding the fish paste & frozen pork dumplings are highly recommend. All the staff members are so helpful and friendly
  • Hot pot heaven!
  • They have a vegetarian platter thats quite tasty. Ask for the vegan broth.
