  • Great selection of Yakitori - try the chicken wasabi, Gyu and the chicken meatball with a side of the cold soba
  • Favorite location since it's not rammed.....yet.
  • So much less crowded than the other Ootoya locations.
  • I'd get a dinner set, they do their cooked food really well but their sushi is nothing special.
  • Everything was DELICIOUS
  • So good: chirashi don is legit
  • A cute and family friendly restaurant. As appetizers, have the gyu and tsukune yakitori. As the main dish, try the salmon saikyo. Great sake choices as well.
  • Good spot to try Japanese homestyle cooking. Some sushi/sashimi available. Long list of sake. Try the roasted tea.
  • Lunch sets
  • Best authentic non-sushi Japanese food
  • Their unagidon was surprisingly good.
  • Ootoya is one of my favorite local restaurants! Super fresh sushi, comfort japanese dishes w/ tip included in the prices. Love coming here!
  • I love Ootoya and I had several of their Katsus. I love the Katsu Ju
  • This pace rocks.
  • Excellent recommendation. Its very good and the are very fresh..
  • Mochi pounding event!
  • Absolutely delicious proper Japanese dinner with my friend on a cold day. I couldn't eat a lot of the menu (no pork, no seafood for me) but my chicken was amazing and the dessert was dope.
  • Cheesecake is incredible! Besides that food is good but waaay overpriced.
  • Amazing place! Very authentic - highly recommend the katsu and salmon sashimi
  • Oh dear, one of those places where you don't know what any of the stuff is so you end up ordering all of it. I really ended up liking the Gyu Shiu Koji, which is grilled sliced marinated washu beef.
