  • Ponzu Duck & the Lobster Roll - Amazing. Sake is VERY Pricey
  • The spanish mackerel is AWESOME!
  • Ordered an entire dinner for two from these tips. Thanks foursquare!
  • The Spicy Tuna Dip is delicious! Do not miss it.
  • Garlic Angel Hair Noodles, last thing on the menu. Yum.
  • Saba, risotto, lobster roll, tofu fries, and pork belly. You'll leave very full & very happy.
  • Check in and try the tofu fries at this Asian fusion restaurant. Plus, with plenty of fresh fish options it's easy to get your daily dose of healthy fats. Read why Omega-3s are key to a healthy diet.
  • Wow. Marinared mackarel torched at the table. Best thing so far.
  • Very budget friendly. Love the green bean salad, pork belly, salmon...everything is tasty!
  • Highly recommend the sashimi sampler, lobster roll and creme brle :)
  • Aburi Saba is my favorite dish here. Miss the kabocha croquettes!
  • All the food is really good and they are open later than almost any restaurant in Santa Monica every night of the week. My go to spot in SM.
  • the musha fried chicken is out of control.
  • Try the mackerel, they cook it at your table with a blow torch.
  • Izakaya-style is basically small plates--Japanese "tapas". For vegetarians, try the tofu fries and the "pure tofu".
  • My favorite restaurant. I've never ordered something here didn't love. Country style Japanese. Faves include sakekasu salmon, tuna tataki, miso. Reading the menu is really fun.
  • The wait's never as long as they tell you. Don't miss the charcoal grill steak or the special risotto (which they serve up in a huge wheel of cheese)
  • Must haves: the saba, which they torch at the table, the lobster roll, the spicy tuna dip.
  • very tasty!
  • Great place for fresh sashimi and poke. Portions are relatively small but delicious. Garlic noodles and all starters we had also tasted great.
