Foursquare Tips

  • Try their ramen
  • If you don't have a dinner reservation, just sit in the outdoor lounge! You can order from the full menu and it's sooo relaxing with chillin' tunes, candlelight & firepit.
  • At night, making a right on Hobron can be crazy. Instead, make a right by the Hawaii Prince and take the back road to EDITION. Faster!
  • Best meal of my life and best service of my life! We got lucky and ended up there when chef morimoto was cooking!
  • Order the Haupia semifreddo, as recommended by Daniel Skurnick executive pastry chef at Morimoto's. It's a plate of haupia ice cream between two crisp matcha wafers. Featured in our Restaurant Guide!
  • Go for dinner & have the omakase. Martin is the best waiter! Went for lunch as well, service not nearly half as good as dinner service.
  • Try the Chirashi
  • Order the pineapple tempura. It's wrapped in jamon iberico, the Spanish equivalent of prosciutto. The less salty, subtle flavor compliments the sweetness of the Hawaiian pineapple.
  • Hit them up for lunch and Sunday brunches
  • Star-Advertiser review: Morimoto's experience worth the price
  • Try the tuna pizza for something different. Order their surf and turf and the red snapper. Both are very good.
  • Unbelievable!
  • Go for breakfast and try the traditional Japanese sets. Miso soup, congee, rice, poke!
  • Try pear yuzu gimlet with Serrano chili delicious!
  • Ryan is a great server. Service is incredible here. Food comes out in what seems like 5 minutes after you order. Great atmosphere, energy in the dining room.
  • Try Rock Shrimp Tempura at lunch. It's to die for!
  • Surprise! Morimoto serves amazing breakfast too! The banana pancakes are amazing, paired with some thick slices of bacon. Yum!
  • They put forks directly on the table, not on the serviette. Duck duck duck was undercooked although we asked for everything well done. Rolls were too spicy. 18% gratuity was included in the bill.
  • Try the 7 course tasting menu. Excellent
  • Their abalone takoyaki with the shoyu butter is to DIE for!!!!!!
