Foursquare Tips

  • Kahn's food is cerebral, beautifully plated, and delicious, though perhaps more expensive than your every day breakfast and lunch spot. The coffee is excellent too.
  • The rice porridge doesnt sound like much but its delicious
  • Delicious, creative, healthy food at a surprisingly affordable price. Each plate is about meal sized, but often best shared. Bring a friend and split two dishes!
  • Wasnt into the coffee. But food is fresh.
  • Cauliflower and blood orange tonic
  • The cauliflower was amazing !
  • Chicken confit and a blood orange tonic made for a heavenly lunch. This place is amazing.
  • At Destroyer, a new daytime spot with a Scandinavian-modern look, chef Jordan Kahn and his team serve sous vide avocado in a puddle of sorrel juice and kale oil, topped with puffed teff (a grain).
  • the breakfast farmers cheese
  • Huge fan of this place -- the avocado + burnt onion is delicious and the brown butter banana muffin is one of the best muffins I've ever had. Awesome breakfast spot in Culver City!
  • A lot of hype.
  • Beautifully plated food with an enticing fusion of ingredients. Everything was delicious.
  • The space's austere decor is balanced by the high art presentation of each dish. Does Destroyer serve avocado toast? Well, how about avocado confit on toasted country bread?
  • Go here for chef Jordan Kahns strange yet satisfying meditation on the healthyish kinds of daytime snacks that everyone wants to eat when theyre in Los Angeles.
  • The avocado confit is amazing, as is their rye bread.
  • Delicious Nordic style food and coffee with beautiful presentation.
  • Best way to describe this place is like eating in an minimalist art museum. The plating and bowls are gorgeous as is the space. Love the chicken confit but not the beef tartare as much.
  • This place will destroy your wallet, but the food is ok. It will however take a long time but will be beautifully plated.
  • Toasts with fancy things on beautiful plates? I'm sold.
  • The food was great & innovative. The servers look like lost lambs delivering food to the wrong table, or in our case not at all. They need a new system.
