Tips

  • Oyster po' boy is excellent. Perfectly fries, the sandwich is crunchy from start to finish. Come here for dinner and get a side of picked and/or roasted vegetables.
  • Excellent oyster po' boy and tremendous kale and quinoa salad (with bacon).
  • Delicious scones with jam for breakfast!
  • Had their surf sandwich which was grilled cheese with shrimp. Perfect. Plus we had their garlic fries which were really good. Would definitely go back.
  • Get oysters and wine here!
  • The oyster po'boy breading is a bit too thick but the oysters are good.
  • The grilled cheese is a thing of beauty and their arugula salad with pomegranate and ranch dressing was also good.
  • Oyster with goddess butter is amazing! I've converted from not liking oysters to loving them
  • Had the Avocado Toast - amazing, fresh, and delicious, unique because of the Burratta! Italian Lentil Special Soup of the Day was also good and light. Definitely going to try everything on this menu!
  • Killer chorizo and pickle platter.
  • Po Boy Sandwich
  • Mussels in tarragon beer broth. Cooked just right!
  • Kale and quinoa salad is good, but needs a little acid. Ask for lemon.
  • Get the Kennebec fries
  • It may be known for oysters by night, but by day, The Cook and Her Farmer is a spot for De La Paz coffee, fresh-baked scones, and chef Romney Steele's handmade jams. Coffee service kicks off at 9 am.
  • "The world's best grilled cheese sandwich" is expensive, but really good.
  • Diggin the kale salad and the Big Sur Melt (grilled cheese with gulf shrimp).
  • The shrimp grilled cheese was to die for
