Tips

  • Jamaican Latte- not too sweet and just the right amount of spice :-) Sitting in the outside cafe area reminded me of the Parisian coffee shops. Lavender cookie- for an adventurous taste palette.
  • my favorite coffee joint in all of chicago. love the low lighting, the staff & the tasty drinks!
  • Probably my favorite hideout in Lincoln Park. Everything on the menu is named after some sort of literary work and it's all delicious. I reccommend the Great Gatsby and East of Eden.
  • A magical world of tea.
  • Super cute coffee and sandwich shop with a cozy, vintage vibe. Don't be confused by the two doors: one side is sandwiches and one side is the coffee shop. Smells amaaaaaazing.
  • The orange poppy scone goes great with many of the vast variety of teas they have.
  • As Walt Whitman once said, "Nothing endures but personal qualities... and sandwiches named after Walt Whitman." Try one at this awesome coffee shop.
  • Relax and enjoy yourself. Great place to hang out, study, and relax. Great atmosphere to be in!
  • Bacon breakfast bowl is delicious!
  • Be ready to chill. They are super slow.
  • The turkey panini is very tasty!
  • Bourgeois Pig's dignity left with Children's Memorial Hospital. A shame to lose this neighborhood gem to mediocrity.
  • Amazing food, amazing coffee. Unfortunately, insanely slow service. Will not be back for food until they figure out how to scale.
  • It's hard to compete with the breakfast bowl!
  • The left building is for food and the right is for beverage.
  • The lack of opium on the menu leaves something to be desired.
  • One of the best coffee shops in Chicago. If you're looking for some quiet to read or catch up with a friend, check out the upstairs area.
  • Sit upstairs to eat. It's a whole other world.
  • The sandwiches are good but way over priced. The workers here are pretty rude, service is slow and really just not worth it.
  • The Peppernini is delightful! Definitely recommend, esp if you're a vegetarian.
