  • Ask for the "Fashion Victim" cocktail of Mr. Giovanni Spezziga. An awesome mix of Diplomtico Reserva with Domaine de Carton Ginger, Homamade Benares syrup and chocolate bitter
  • Chutney Martini must be tried
  • There are amazing drinks to pick from. One MUST is the "Cool Runnings" with Reserva Exclusiva, Carton Ginger Liqueur and Benares syrup Dash of liquorice bitters. Fantastic.
  • Mumbai martini do it...
  • Very nice upscale Indian in Mayfair with great interpretations of classical favorites
  • I simply love the excellent food and wonderful service at Benares. Chef Atul Kochhar always surprises in a good way.
  • A delightful experience - pure and elegant yet intense tastes and perfect technique. Every bite is a pleasure. Bonus: wonderful warmhearted personality of the chef & very kind staff.
  • The seafood Thali platter is excellent, and fantastic value. Have the Mumbai martini while you wait for your table
  • Grazing menu was absolutely divine! Definitely go for the wines they offer with each course, really compliments each dish. Mini negative is the dessert.
  • Chicken tikka and masala , biryani as well
  • Kochhars cooking melds Indian traditions with top-quality British ingredients and some European ideas: the result is a raft of generally fabulously presented and richly flavoured dishes.
  • High end food though sometimes a little too complicated. But overall very good. Sensible and courteous service. Great cocktails from classics like Bloody Mary to masala martinis.
  • Had the tasting menu with the cheapest wine package, and it was amazing. On the pricier side, which seems allright given the restaurant's credentials, but certainly worth it as an experience!
  • The food was perfect, more fine dining.
  • Kadai chicken is so tasty that you crave for more. Environment is noisy though
  • One Michelin Star.
  • Fantastic food and some great set menu offers.
  • Go for the Toptable lunch special. Michelin starred 3 course meal for 25 pounds. Includes a drink, amuse bouche, mini poppadoms+dip, and a pre-dessert. Amazing value and quality.
  • They now do lunch wraps. The lamb sheesh kebab wrap is very tasty. 6 pounds.
