Tips
- We recommend: Fried risotto balls with mozzarella and roasted eggplant; Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella; chorizo pizza with onion and roasted red pepper; prosciutto-and-arugula pizza.
- Shhhhh it want it all for my self... my absolute new fave for pizza. Also don't miss the arancino (fried risotto balls).
- Order the Margherita DOC. Made in the old-world Neapolitan fashion, the pie shines with San Marzano tomatoes, milky mozzarella di bufala and just a handful of ingredients in the dough.
- Fantastic pizza, BEST in Arlington!
- giant, Italian-made woodburning oven, makes all the difference. Which makes for a great pizza when eating here.
- The pizzas with toppings are tempting, and taste wonderful, but the true star is the Margherita with real mozzerella.
- Love their lunch special - $9 for Arrugula salad, margharita pizza and a pellegrino drink. Yum!!
- One pizza is the perfect size for sharing!
- Pretty much amazing
- If its your first time make sure to order a pizza. Any pizza. Pick one or make your own so you know what you're getting and then have pupatella blow your expectations out of the water.
- Everything is good. Authentic Italian. Highly recommend the margarita pizza. Also their gelato is great! A pizza will fill you up and prices are more than reasonable!
- They have REAL coke tooo!!!
- Petes serves up raised-crust (not thin, dammit) pies, the signature style of New England pizzerias. Its set to open at the end of the month.
- Awesome Neapolitan pizza. $10 or so gets you a nice big wood fired pie with a variety of fresh toppings.
- The Capricciosa pizza is a solid option: sauted mushrooms, marinated artichokes, prosciutto cotto & fresh mozzarella.
- The Diavola pizza is out of this world: spicy salami, fresh mozzarella, and basil.
- Everything is good here, especially the Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella.
- This place lives up to the hype, even tho it looks like a hole in the wall. Best, most authentic thin crust neapolitan pizza around DC. Eat in house.
- Be ready to wait for a place to sit. But it is worth it!
- This was my second time here. Lunchtime was super-crowded when I went first, so dinner was a lot more mellow. Pizza is amazing. I've gotten the Neapolitan & the Diavola so far.
