You don’t have to drop G’s or even know how to ski to enjoy Colorado this winter. In fact, you don’t even have to leave LA to enjoy it! How is this possible? Enter new brewpub, Public House.
Yesterday Eagle Rock Brewery owners Jeremy Raub, Raub’s wife Ting Su, and brother Jerry Su opened the doors to their new home on Colorado Blvd (get it now?). Though this hospitable family has been brewing for nearly five years, they recently opened this spot where Angelinos can enjoy each other’s company, along with some great brews and tasty treats.
As Raub and Ting Su recently celebrated their fourth anniversary of the brewery, it was really a pub that was in the original plans for the couple. Now, their (and our) dreams are coming true. With the initial beer menu offering all of Eagle Rock’s current brews along with a selection of wines and sours, everyone from craft beer aficionados to lightweights will be able to find something they enjoy.
With eats coming from Jerry Su (formerly of Bouchon, Momofuku and Son of a Gun) beer lovers and foodies alike, will thrive here. Choices like the Potted Pig with toast and grapefruit marmalade, or the Cornish Hen with potato, radish and nettle chimichuri are sure to make your visit memorable (depending on how much you drink…).
Starting to think we made the right choice heading to this pub rather than the slopes.
