Tips

  • If people say you should visit "Alaskaland" they mean this place. It's hopping in summer with shows, the salmon bake, air museum, & the train (a must for all ages). The gallery is open year around.
  • This is where dreams come to die.
  • Catch the show @ the Palace. Eat @ the Salmon Bake. Take the train around the park. Get an old time photo taken in Gold Rush village. Eat some ice cream. Play some putt putt golf. Go to the Air Museum
  • Vintage Things, history
  • Very interesting!
  • This is an interesting place if you're into history. Some of the museums seem redundant though.
  • Lots to see. Restricted becaues it's wintern but has lots of potential for summer time
  • Must do while in Fairbanks:) I need to schedule my return visit! www.poshme2.com <--looking for alaska reps to join my team!
  • A sort of amusement park-historical park-picnic grounds celebrating Fairbanks' history. Check out the old town cabins. Visit the railroad car Harding took up to Alaska to launch the Alaska Railroad!
  • Large variety of gift shops in pioneer setting. Always nice to walk through.
