  • Very good contemporary collection. Free every Thursday evening 4-8pm
  • Free admission the Second Sunday of every Month.
  • Really unique pieces. Discounted student and active duty military admission, however no discount for retired military. 21 years service and no discount? So disrespectful!
  • Surprisingly comprehensive collection of both contemporary and historic works. Great sculpture collection. Located right off the Palm Springs strip, which makes walking to dinner afterwards a cinch.
  • Go! This place is amazing!
  • Every Thursday afternoon/evening (4:00-8:00 p.m.) admission to the museum is free [sponsored by the City of Palm Springs]. VillageFest takes place that evening as well; parking can be challenging.
  • Come on a Thursday night for free evening admission during VillageFest.
  • Special exhibits change from time to time. A Museum membership makes repeated visits easy and worthwhile.
  • Really cool art on the top level. Watch for the old couple. Spooky!

  • Phenomenal museum! One of the best displays of contemporary works I've seen. I enjoyed my visit there.

  • I was pleased with the modern collection and the temporary exhibit.The building is seemingly modest but great transition and spaces throughout. Don't leave without checking out the sculpture garden.
  • Modern Art on the 3rd floor is impressive for a museum this size.
  • "California Dreamin': Thirty Years of Collecting", an exhibition on display until the end of July, is a survey of art in California since the 1980s including paintings, sculptures, and photography.
  • They have some american photo classics - Adams, Curtis, Mappletorpe and Strand
  • Don't forget about the 2nd & 3rd floors. My best part were those floors.
  • Free admission on the second Sunday of each month
