  • "Si vaga come anime nomadi dagli occhi sognanti, ci si incontra fra una rovina e l'altra, sotto un archetto, davanti a un gatto addormentato su un capitello, rapiti da un paesaggio sontuoso"
  • Map of the ruins to plan your visit
  • the Palatine Hill was the location of the cave, known as the Lupercal, where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf that kept them alive.
  • Beat the Colisseum lines and buy the dual ticket here at this very worthwhile stroll through Roman times.
  • Una veduta del Palatino dalle pendici del Campidoglio
  • La coda molto meno corta del Colosseo ed il biglietto vale aanche per visitare Colosseo e fori romani. Sconti per giovani europei.
  • Very interesting but inside there's no directions and no indications of what you're looking at, really bad.
  • Wear shoes you will not mind getting dirty!
  • Buy ur ticket here. Cue is shorter than at Colosseum
  • Munitevi di piantina prima di entrare, perch dentro siete soli con voi stessi.
  • Best view in all of Rome. Go down the hill to the Roman Forum on the way to the coloseo/coliseum
  • Please educate yourself before entering! We did the whole walkthrough should first see the Forum ruins, then the Palatine Hill. It seems to make more sense anyway. Enjoy!
  • My absolute favorite. We had a very educated and experienced guide who participated in the dig. She was supremo! My favorite because of the preserved times of Roman society. Quite sacred, I felt.
  • It's an invaluable experience. We loved all of it! Archeology, history, humanity, aristocracy, luxury living and smart architecture/engineering of past people will make you think more of humanity :)
  • Such a interesting place but if you don't get audio guide you can't get a map and unfortunetly inside they don't have proper sign...
  • Be sure to pack a picnic before you enter!
  • Largest and best preserved ruins of one of the three large public bathhouses of ancient Rome. Not on The Beehive map as it is a bit south near the Circus Maximus.
  • Molto bello ma bisogna avere per forza una cartina e una guida perch all'interno non c' nessuna indicazione
  • There is a natural spring for drinking just below the Palatino to your west, down the stairs if you're looking at the Palatino from above
  • Lavoro
