Tips

  • It smells like a sewer.
  • St. Patty's Day is just around the corner, so expect higher traffic at "Irish" places as green beer flows and partying commences.
  • Drunken Irish fun all year round. Wait in line to climb the narrow wooden staircase to the top floor where popular Irish drinking songs have people singing, clapping and stomping their feet.
  • Girls with asses like mine don't talk to guys with faces like yours....sorry for partyinggggg
  • Lou is bartending the days on Friday.. He won War of the Pour this year.. He's a bad ass
  • If it is super crowded, the back patio is a nice spot to get some fresh air and relax.
  • Nice bar, is always crowded. If you hate crowds, not the spot to go to.
  • Best. Bar. Ever.
  • Click here to read the Urbanspoon reviews.
  • Go to Old Shillelagh and go to the roof-top. They have a DJ and bar up there.
  • Great place to hang out any or everyday of the week. Friendly bar staff and great drinks.
  • It was very fun I was just butthurt that I had to pay cover
  • Follow the Shillelagh on twitter @OldShillelagh
  • Don't throw bottles!
  • Drinks are very weak and overpriced so youll want to stick to beer here. Rent out the second floor for parties and groups. :) Weekends can be crowded with lots of security, but not many bartenders.
  • Don't go here at night.
  • A must hit on your pub crawl
  • Have a blast here every St. Patrick's Day!
  • Main floor dance floor was packed. Rooftop packed. Always a good time here!!
  • Nightlife is great
