  • Just driving by Dr. Martin Luther King's birth house is a humbling experience. I can only picture him being born in the upstairs bedroom. The House is still in tact and that's awesome.

  • The museum was awesome. We also went to the fire house he used to play at and got a tour by a retired fireman who was one of the first black firemen at that station. That was awesome!
  • Besides items that belonged to the family, the house contains an outstanding multimedia exhibit focused on the civil rights movement. A limited number of visitors are allowed to tour the house daily.
