Tips

  • Best Ethiopian food in NY! Come with a group and share the veggie combo. All veggie dishes are vegan too. Huge portions, and lively scene.
  • Vegetarian here: may be the best Ethiopian I've had in Brooklyn. Very flavorful, and a very good value for the quality in an Ethiopian restaurant.
  • Vegetarian combo is vegan and delicious!!
  • I'm going to make ordering simple if you have a party of 4 (because the menu is kinda confusing). Order the combo platter for 4. You will get all the meat & veggie options on one big plate. Enjoy.
  • Best split peas I've ever had
  • Eat where angels eat.
  • Get the vegetarian combo, try all 8 veg dishes, and rotate halfway through. h/t DJ
  • great for lg grps, like a family or baseball team or small organized crime family it's up to you man
  • The vegetarian combo for two is 8 dishes of heaven
  • Heres what you do: go with four people, order the $60 combination, which gets you basically all of the restaurants best dishes for $15 a person.
  • If you're Gluten-Free, call the day before and they will make tef-only injera for you. (The regular injera is made with some wheat)
  • Hands down, best Ethiopian food in NYC! I enjoyed every bite as everything I tried was really good... I recommend the Ghenet Combination (with Doro Wot) and Lamb Tibs...
  • The kategna with kitfo & cheese appetizer is the highlight of the menu ! Must try and you'll be begging for more.
  • Doro wet is ok....love the spicy dishes
  • Try the Sheba tej honey wine cocktail
  • Really great vegan options. A little pricey but worth the money.
  • Went here w Elle. Interesting and good. A little more interesting than good but still good!
  • If its on the menu, its probably going to be delicious. I think about the green beans on a daily basis. You should probably order them, because I said so. You can trust me, I know your dad.
  • The food is okay. Not fantastic.
  • Good for a date and if you look for a new experience. Girls, please be prepared that is no silverware, cut your nails before you go there!
