Foursquare Tips

  • Brunch porridge with caramel cream is simple and delicious.
  • Catch o' the day and a dry Riesling.
  • don't get the pretzel for dinner, it's hard and cold.
  • If your palate is calling for an imperial pint of deliciously bitter North G brew, then do yourself a favor and order the Kstritzer, a 467-year-old Schwarzbier dark lager.
  • Food was good but a little bland. No salt or pepper on table nor do they have hot sauce besides chili flakes. =O Great German beer selection in multiple sizes. Try the sampler.
  • Good beer, and a kids menu
  • German beer menu is among the best in the area.
  • A few non vegetarian (non beef/pork options). Great beer selection.
  • I love that you can get a full German breakfast here. The housemade spreads (chocolate, caramel, and fruit preserves) are all excellent.
  • Totally surprised by their vegetarian options.
  • Get Sptzle instead of mashed potatoes. Mmmmmmm
  • The sausages are more like hot dogs and less like the bratwursts you're thinking of
  • If you get a bier tasting flight you get a little map that shows where each beer is made.
  • They have a huge selection of lesser-known German beers and amazing pretzels.
  • Waitress' suggestion of minced beef with white cabbage and mashed potatoes was spot-on
  • The veggie cake (with carrot slaw and arugula salad) was DELICIOUS. Also enjoyed the $6 beer sampler. And the bathrooms are exceptional.
  • Yes the pretz was hard but the load up on fresh veggies on each plate was a nice surprise. Yay, Cali!
  • The bratwurst comes from a traditional German farm in Upstate New York, and is wonderful
  • Best soups in town! :D
  • Food looked good, but they ignored us when we asked for a seat. Pretty bad customer service.
