Tips

  • Sundays and Thursdays are my favorite. Cheap pitchers of Leinenkugels and open mic!
  • Every Sunday night there's Open Mic (7 & 9pm I think) & Free Buffet, kinda southern style. Very cool, a must see.
  • I am the mayor and I declare cheap beer and no cover for every one!
  • This is a great place to do mushrooms.
  • The Comedy Show there every Saturday is awesome and free as always! its called "the Two-Hour Comedy Hour"
  • This place is simply amazing. Live music every night (good & bad, but always entertaining). For you LP ladies out for a "mix-it-up" Bucktown night at coast... this is steps away.
  • No matter where you are this is the place to end up.
  • A great gathering for friends, since they all frequent Gallery Cabaret.
  • Live show every night so check ahead to see what's going on that evening.
  • Treat the owners with respect. They're the reason I keep coming out here.
  • Try Batch 19 at Gallery Cabaret. It is a pre-prohibition style lager. Bold, hoppy flavor that is well-balanced from the archives of Coors dating back before 1919.
  • In my top 3 Chicago bars. Defense Thursdays & Sundays hot spots.
  • Good service at the bar, even on busy nights.
  • Eclectic. This art-filled, off the beaten path tavern has seen performances by, now famous, rockers and comedians. Note the unpretentious vibe. Growing craft beer + cider list at a good value. Cheap.
  • Free two hour comedy hour every Saturday. Don't forget to ask about the drink special.
  • the men's room smells like a nursery (the kind with flowers not the kind with babies)
  • Order the Gallery Cabaret!
  • Cool bar, but kind of expensive.
  • Capt'n Coke!
  • Gotta love love music Tuesday
