This year’s Super Bowl 50 is a big one. Not only is the February 7th game bringing Coldplay and Beyoncé together for the halftime show, Napa Valley-based The Black Bottle winery is offering an epic Super Bowl Experience with Jerry Rice that includes a long list of amazing perks. Offered for $200,000, the bespoke package awards you with plenty of time with Rice (who is considered to be the greatest wide receiver to ever grace the NFL), and gives you invitation-only VIP passes to three different celebrity-packed Super Bowl parties.
According to Black Bottle Founder and CEO Mark Russo, this once-in-a-lifetime experience for two is solely for one buyer and won’t be duplicated in another promotion. You can either buy it yourself or share the cost with someone else, but only two people will get to reap the rewards. Considering everything that comes with it, we aren’t surprised that only two lucky sports fans will be getting their hands on it. To start, the promotion includes $2k airfare for two for those outside of the Bay Area, five nights at a top-tier hotel, all ground transportation and two tickets to the game.

A 750 ml bottle of the winery’s Napa Cabernet will be handed over, which is worth $1k and isn’t available in retail, because you have to be on an exclusive allocation list to get your hands on one. Even cooler, you will get a custom 18-liter bottle worth $48k that stars a special Super Bowl 50 logo that not only commemorates Jerry Rice and his long list of NFL accomplishments, but also boasts the athlete’s signature—as well as Russo's own. “At the bottom it says ‘1 of 1’ and I will never make another one of these bottles, so it's completely and totally bespoke,” promises Russo. As an extra piece of swag, the buyer will also get a 49ers helmet signed by Rice that comes with a custom engraved case. You will have plenty of time to chat with Rice about his career while you either go to a private dinner or on a private golf outing with him. Oh yeah, and you’ll also get a cool on-field visit with him and a photo session.
A special The Black Bottle Inside View to the Napa Valley is featured, which according to Russo includes “a private villa in Napa, plus dinners at La Toque and French Laundry, an exclusive vertical tasting of The Black Bottle and visits to top Napa wineries, including Harlan Estate.” The same Inside View offering sold last year at a Dallas nonprofit auction for $98k. To make this promotion even cooler, Black Bottle winery has most recently added private helicopter transportation from the game to Napa Valley.
Lastly, the parties included aren’t just average gatherings with local nobodies. They’re the Leather & Laces, Leigh Steinberg and Rolling Stone parties, which are seriously private soirées that bring together the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger and George Clooney. Which means you can hang out with them and maybe even chat with Leo about his newest hit, The Revenant.

A portion of the $200k price tag will be donated to Jerry Rice’s charity, while another chunk will be given to the charity of the buyer’s choice. If interested, contact Mark Russo via email at mark@BlackBottleWinery.com or telephone at (415) 806-4625.
