Foursquare Tips

  • Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
  • A great place to teach kids how to "shop" for vegetables, fruit, bread, etc. as well as use money and make change. All the farmers/vendors are really friendly and it's a great experience for them.
  • Right next door!!
  • Come see them!
  • The food trucks rotate gigs here on Saturday mornings - come hungry.
  • A perfect Durham staple that's always worth walking around and seeing what's in season.
  • Get the ravioli!
  • Do a lap before you buy anything, especially produce - prices vary from booth to booth.
  • The fresh, local produce, mets, breads, etc. are amazing. If you have a friend or loved one that has a Gluten, Dairy, or Casein allergy be sure to check out Imagine That Gluten Free.
  • Durham Crafts Market is right across the street with lots of crafters with interesting stuff! Including, LateBloomerPottery, with my lovely, handmade pots.
  • Small, quaint, and local with such a delightful compilation of offerings. I like the big Farmers Market in Raleigh, but this was quaint, personal, and distinctively Durham. I will definitely be back!
  • Come early to get the best and to beat the heat in the Summer time.
  • Try the tofu hand pies. Vegetarian and delicious.
  • It's an awesome place to get your garden already started as well as your body products.
  • Celebrity Dairy just started selling amazing ice cream.
  • Be sure to hit up the Garden of Eatin' for FREE fresh herbs and fruits for your picking pleasure!
  • Hit up Wild Scallions Farm for flowers, veggies and yummy bread!
  • Fresh produce, yay! I love the smoked mozzarella cheese.
  • Get biscuits and gravy at Pie Pushers. OMG, so good.
  • Abanitu Farm has the most delicious greens and the loveliest people. Talk to them about their super conscientious approach to farming.
