Tips

  • If you're here with someone from Pinterest, ask them to take your sandwiches back to the office and eat on the roof.
  • My new favorite: The Humberto is 2-meat spicy version of the Boca. The Jalapeos make all the difference.
  • If you arrive at noon, you won't wait in line. If you arrive at 12:30pm, the line could be out the door. Yes, even on a Monday.
  • Try something new every time. They change the menu frequently and it's always good.
  • Pay cash, leave a $1 tip
  • They need an alias for my usual custom combo: smoked brisket on Dutch crunch with muenster cheese, board sauce and lettuce
  • Don't fret about deciding amongst the huge selection. Make sure yours has pastrami + brisket + pepperoncini spread + some sort of cheese. You can't go wrong. If they have the JT, you have to get it.
  • Don't forget, you can always mix-and-match meats (e.g. brisket + pastrami, or brisket + pastrami + salami). They'll proportion the sandwich correctly so it's just the right amount of overwhelming.
  • The Mezman is the perfect sandwich. It has everything I would want on a sandwich: pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster, jalepenos, pickles and board sauce on hot-toasted garlic dutch crunch (!)
  • Try the Bradley. So good, but beware, you might need a nap.
  • Get everything.
  • 7x7's Big Eat 2012 says the Munsoned is delicious. Yum!
  • The Fatty Matty is outstanding, and contains the best falafel I've had in San Francisco.
  • The $$$$ is my staple. It's pronounced "mo money"
  • New menu! No more "grok" so order a BG with bacon. Yes!
  • The Fatty Matty is great! Bread is warm and soft, but crispy on the edges. Ratio of fillings is just right. Combination of ingredients is unique. And the pickles are perfectly crisp and tart.
  • El Boca es EL MEJOR sandwich que he comido en mi vida.
  • The weekend-only bk breakfast sandwich is a beast - bacon, sausage patties, egg, cheese, and more bacon. Great hangover remedy
  • get the bg: house brisket cheddar cheese sport peppers house slaw pickles pickled red onion board sauce sweet french. this is truly everything i want in a sandwich.
  • Denae's sandwich is the D:Nice and she is!
