Tips

  • Are these the stinkiest gents in London?
  • Distinctive traditional pub, rumoured to have been the Savoy Hotel's coal cellar. Gilbert and Sullivan performed here. Head down to the basement where it's a bit quieter.
  • Tienes que ir a pedir la comida y la cerveza a la barra, esta delicioso todo.
  • Dumbledor from Harry Potter drank here regularly.
  • Wow, that gents' toilet really does smell bad
  • Great guinness
  • I can't respect a pub where the bar staff, when asked "do you have any porters on tap?" respond by asking "what's that?"
  • The calamari is really good here
  • Noisy but lively... full of people who've come for a drink after work.
  • The ladies in our group absolutely love the Rekorderlig Strawberry Lime Cider.
  • Old pub on the Strand that does a good pie and a pint
  • As there's a recession on don't go spending all your spare cash on gin and tonic! 2 litres of White Lightening from Lidl should do you! :-)
  • If the bar is crowded (as it often is) there's a large basement bar worth trying.
  • Try the mulled cider!
  • Best pie I've ever had. Chicken and chorizo.
  • Food is good. Service is also good.
  • London pale ale ja chipsit
  • A nice selection of bitters
  • Excelente comida, fish and chips y meat pie
  • Expensive, slow, chain pub with nasty toilets.
