Foursquare Tips

  • Get there early for breakfast. Fills up fast.
  • The country Ham and biscuits are both very good.
  • Love those ham biscuits!
  • The ham biscuits are good, but they are rather salty. Also, there is a cat that pretty much just stays in the treasure shop and sleeps, so it shouldn't be a problem unless you are extremely allergic.
  • Was a little disappointed. Had the Brunswick stew, a vegetable soup in truth. Pies are baked in pre made shells, which you can taste. Biscuit was cold, ham was delicious.
  • They have a huge salad with grilled chicken and country ham! So good!
  • country ham biscuits and homemade pie - don't miss either!
  • Not the best choice for the kosher set.
  • The chicken and dumplings for lunch are to die for!
  • The Brunswick stew was really good, the biscuits were great, but the the chocolate pie was the best!
  • The lunch special is wonderful. Includes desert.
  • Great ham biscuits and Brunswick Stew! The Apple Crumb pie was delicious!
  • Miss Melinda's special is the best meal in town!
  • I really wanted to get here in time for breakfast but made it for lunch instead. Everything was tasty. Ambiance delightful. But was very, very busy and Im not sure worth an hour wait.
  • This place is awesome if you want a good country breakfast. And the prices are comparable to IHOP but that is the only comparison I can make. I will be throwing rocks at IHOP the time I ride by!
  • In my opinion, this is one of the very best places to visit in the Williamsburg area. You'll really get a piece of history, and great food! Don't miss it!
  • Truly the best place to eat in all of Williamsburg! If you go nowhere else, go here! Friendly service too!
  • The plantation breakfast is the best!
  • Try the chicken & dumplings
  • The food was ok, the menu is very out dated. It is a very touristy restaurant.
