Award-Winning Sandwich Shop Celebrates Lincoln Opening With Free Bobbie’s For A Year
Las Vegas, NV (RestaurantNews.com) Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened its second Nebraska location in the heart of Downtown Lincoln on August 3. To celebrate the newest restaurant, Capriotti’s will be giving the first 100 guests in line free 9” Bobbie sandwiches for a year on August 27.
The new restaurant will be the second Capriotti’s location for franchisee Corey Tallman. He was familiarized with the brand while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Security in Phoenix, AZ. After one visit, Corey fell in love with the shop’s fresh, delicious subs. After returning to his home state of Nebraska, he knew he wanted to own his own business. While doing research, he couldn’t help but think back to his time in Arizona and Capriotti’s. He made the decision to bring Capriotti’s and its award-winning sandwiches to Lincoln. He opened his first restaurant in August 2015, and has plans to open one more location in the market.
With more than 100 locations across the United States, Capriotti’s is committed to creating mouthwatering, homemade subs and sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients for an unsurpassed taste. Capriotti’s continues its 40-year nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole all-natural turkeys in-house and hand shredding them every morning to feature in a variety of their fan-favorite subs. Their award-winning sandwiches include the shop’s acclaimed best-seller, The Bobbie, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and a touch of mayo on a freshly-made roll and the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dress and cole slaw. The concept also features a wide array of salads and delicious vegetarian subs like the Veggie Cole, made with hot vegetarian turkey, provolone cheese, cole slaw and mayo topped with Russian dressing.
“The new Capriotti’s restaurant is located in the center of downtown, just steps away from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln,” said franchisee Corey Tallman. “I look forward to bringing even more students, full-time residents and visitors alike the fresh, mouthwatering sandwiches, salads and soups that Capriotti’s is known for.”
“Opening our second Capriotti’s restaurant in the city of Lincoln is continued proof of the support and demand the brand has received from the community,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “As a result of Corey’s experience, knowledge of the market and dedication to Capriotti’s, he has become an invaluable part of the Capriotti’s family and we look forward to his continued success with his new restaurant.”
Capriotti’s is located at 235 South 11th Street, Unit A, Lincoln, NE 68508 and will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For additional information regarding Capriotti’s, please visit www.capriottis.com.
