Foursquare Tips

  • Have you been to a whiter place???!!!
  • The main event down here -- crispy pizza -- includes this margherita plus more exotic stuff like "Polpo" with braised octopus, tomato sauce, Fresno peppers, and avocado.
  • Go for the Dumplings---amazing!
  • Excellent staff and a great space. The menu is fantastic except for the steak. The steak menu is overly complicated with poorly trimmed cuts of meat that are are not professionally cooked - skip meat.
  • Schupfundel might be difficult to pronounce but the dumplings are a must. Super rich and creamy.
  • Steak is...meh. All the sides, soup and dumplings are amazing!
  • The front door is on Colfax. Go around back!
  • Pizza bar downstairs has a good vibe and great staff. They were booked with reservations and still got us in for a quick dinner.
  • Great ambience, great food, and a very knowledgeable and customer concerned waitress, Carrie D., made this visit a memorable one.
  • Great selection of small plates to share. Also, try the Burch Manhattan.
  • One word. It's a German word. Schupfundel.
  • Get the small treats for .25 cents. A great way to finish your meal.
  • Impeccable design that captures urban contemporary from the Walker and the rustic brick of the Warehouse District. Not a bad table in the entire space.
  • Grass-fed hangar steak is amazing!
  • City Pages Best Steak House - 2013
  • Don't miss dessert! The coconut cake is truly a masterpiece.
  • We had 4 out of 6 appetizers. They where rich, bright, light and wonderful! The duck was crispy and moist. The trout was warm comfortable and satisfying. We will be back! Thank you!
  • Basement Pizza !
  • Sit at the bar downstairs for pizza and a beer. Full steakhouse menu available, but once you've tried the pizza you'll be hooked. Try Gorgonzola and pepperoni on a funghi pizza.
  • Stop for some ice cream after your meal next door at Sebastian Joe's.
