Foursquare Tips

  • Only place that serves beer in the station
  • Best train station bar this side of any river.
  • Perfect for a quick drink and a quick meal between trains.
  • The Bloody Mary's are surprisingly delicious and refreshingly spicy. So I've been told.
  • Ten uncommon beers on draft. Impressive for being the only place in the station that serves alcohol!
  • they carry the balevenie because of me
  • Grab a beer! They have a surprisingly good beer selection for a bar in a train station.
  • Good selection of beer with quick service. Not bad when you've arrived too early for your train.
  • Fantastic food here, plus nice staff
  • Miss your train on purpose - great selection of excellent Oktoberfest-style German beers.
  • Very chill/cool music, and good beer on tap.
  • There's an unmarked locked restroom to the left of the bar. Look for a key attached to an old bar tap on a table by the door.
  • Great octoberfest selection - trying a new one before each train
  • While the beer list is great, check prices before getting anything bottled - they might be much more than you expect, even if you've had the same beer elsewhere.
  • Get the cheese fries. Oh and apparently this is one of the top ranked travel bars?
  • Tasty cheesesteak option with pub mornay, onions, peppers, Gouda. Solid sandwich pick in 30th Street station.
  • If you want to pay $9 for a $6 beer, this is your bar.
  • Worst possible service. Bartender was rude. Place claimed to open at 11 on their website but in reality they open at 11:30. Today they decided to open closer to 12.
  • The beer selection is excellent!
  • Quite the Heavy beer selection here folks. Good place to people watch or wait for your train.
