Tips

  • Cambridge hipsters living their east London dream. Avoid.
  • This is the place a couple of Jack The Rippers victims worked in/around/out of
  • Literally one of the best pubs in London! Barely changed since the days of jack the ripper, gets lively at the weekend, get yourself here!
  • Plays Alt-J. Can't be bad.
  • In this bar they know everything there is to know about Jack the Ripper! Come find out the names of his victims and enjoy a beer in this bar dating from 1752.
  • Awesome little pub, bound to history with its links to Jack the Ripper. Check out all the graffiti in the toilets too
  • Be warned, this place does not admit children, not even at midday on a Saturday. Bar staff not great at explaining the policy either, just a plain "no children allowed". Like it's a crime.
  • Very nice pub, can get quite busy in the afternoons
  • Nice pub, iconic with Jack the Ripper association. Pop now a more regular British modern resto upstairs at the ten bells not to be missed, great food. Full review...
  • This pub is directly opposite Old Spittalfields Market and is steeped in Jack the Ripper history .... see belowhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Bells
  • Get a Truman's Bitter. And avoid the Jersey girls.
  • The refit doesn't even warrant a comment and I am with an architect! So there
  • Not keen on the refit - a lot less room, maybe see what happens when it's finished
  • Head upstairs for its busy downstairs. Not bad selection of ales
  • Good beer selection - not super eclectic but a solid choice of ales...
  • La lgende dit quune des victimes de Jack lventreur y aurait bu son dernier verre...
  • Nice pub located opposite Spitalfields. Plenty of seating and enough room for big groups.
  • Tasty Pimms cup if you want a drink before dinner at St. Johns down the street or in Spitalfields market.
  • Great ales in the pub where some of Jack The Rippers victims drank. Steeped in history but with a modern menu!
  • Pub historique (frquent par Jack l'Eventreur selon la lgende), bonne ambiance pour un verre mais ne sert pas de repas.
