  • Express-News Review: At Auden's Kitchen, namesake chef Bruce Auden and his team have pulled off something special: Chef-crafted food, made from scratch & served at prices that rival restaurant chains.
  • Bumps the comfort-food theme up a notch. Smart, trendy atmosphere but tried and true comfort food. Roasted chicken, fish and chips, fried chicken, chicken pot pie.
  • Food was ok, had Fried Chicken, service needed a smile. Didn't feel the love, only the calories. Hostess kept breathing all over food by kitchen, someone give her a podium to manage!
  • Go to Auden's Kitchen. Save room for dessert. The Chocolate Cappuccino is chocolate heaven in a cup.
  • An oasis in the traffic hell that is Stone Oak and Sonterra. Smart selection of beer and wine along with one of the best kitchens in SA.
  • Amazing! Crispy organic kale tacos stuffed with feta, sweet pickled red onion, salsa verde and crumbled cohita cheese.Served with sweet potato fries. 1/2 off bottled wine too! Thanks Bruce Auden :-)
  • The Duck confit is ridiculously good.
  • Great fried chicken
  • Great food, cool vibe, and reasonably priced. Rib roast was amazing!
  • Ask for Nick (server)...he's awesome! (via Scoville)
  • Great place for an intimate candlelight dinner on patio. Weather is perfect right now to really enjoy it. Try the Liberty Ale - an awesome beer that compliments the awesome food
  • Best potato chips in town! Stop by the drury plaza hotel while leaving! Nicest place to stay in the area :)
  • Best dishes we've had there: short ribs, steak, roast chicken, fried chicken is my supreme favorite there (but feel too guilty to order every time). Nice wines at reasonable prices.
  • Food quality was going down quickly- no surprise they closed. Unfortunately leaves fewer options in Stone Oak besides the old chains.
  • The wood roasted chicken was delicious..... the peach cobbler not so good.......
  • Be prepared for a different menu at dinner. No more fried chicken or burgers. This was 11/23/11.
  • More bread please, it's amazing. I love it so much I'll put it down my pants.
  • All the foods sound weird but they are delicious.
  • Love the gnocchi!
  • As fine as the first 2 visits were, the last 2 have yielded great disappointment: overcooked, oversalted entrees and mediocre salads. I've heard similar tales of inconsistency from several friends.
