Tips

  • Great date spot! especially in the winter. get the rabbit.
  • A longstanding farm-to-table restaurant that serves thoughtful American fare and does the term neighborhood spot justice.
  • Leave the waitstaff a BIG tip. They are definitely the nicest, most gracious lot around. To wit: mothers day-lots of waiting and annoyed patrons. But waitress supreme brings out biscuits+smiles. Aces.
  • The restaurant I miss most after leaving Park Slope. Their brunch biscuits make me want to eat there every weekend.
  • Come visit my favorite restaurant in the area. The staff is kind and accommodating, the menu locally sourced, the wine list well curated, the chef talented, and the food superb.
  • Adorable, delicious, good service... Loves it!
  • my favorite NYC eatery
  • Very good and reasonably priced food, especially considering that the ingredients used are all from local and sustainable sources. They were also flexible about substitutions due to food sensitivities
  • Mussel crepes with lentils, bacon, and crispy kale. Sooooo good!
  • Amazing cocktails. Sit at the bar and talk to the bartenders. They're super knowledgeable.
  • Amazing tasting menus and delicious cocktails - but sit inside or be forgotten with their outdoor seating :/
  • As a TN girl, I was thrilled to order grits & biscuit with my brunch. Best bacon I've had in Brooklyn so far. And I. Love. Bacon.
  • As though the Bloody Mary needed to get any better, this one comes with a mini Kelso chaser.
  • Probably the best french toast I've ever had, great brunch.
  • Amazing restaurant but the hostess for brunch is incompetent and they need to hire a bus boy or two.
  • Such a cute place but apparently cannot make over easy eggs... 1st came overcooked, replacement was almost raw.
  • VERY family unfriendly, though say they are. No strollers inside, no changing table, and a policy of reprimanding crying babies. #aholes
  • If you want something Berlin-ish but with friendlier servIce this hidden gem is it....fresh, delicious food and drinks. Lovely brunch
  • Can't go wrong with this neighborhood gem. Owners are wonderful presence and cocktails are seasonal and delicious. Fireplace is great in winter.
  • If they have the pork belly on the menu. Get it pronto. The skin was like and crisp. And will melt in your mouth like a shrimp chip.
