Tips
- Ask bartender Haley Bettis to make you her awesome Bloody Mary or her favorite drink to make, an "absolutely filthy, porn-star-dirty martini." And don't leave without trying the crawfish etouffee!
- The gumbo's good, but not the best. The touffe, fried alligator, shrimp, catfish, and the red beans and rice are fantastic! Don't leave without trying the boudin!!!
- BC Special is one of the best things I have ever eaten.
- Really good chicken and sausage gumbo! And OMG.. the bread!!
- Good food but to pricey
- The bread is amazing. Hot & very fresh.
- Be sure to get the Boudin ball.
- Fried Pickles and Gumbo are fantastic. Make sure the get the Spicy Fried Pickles.
- Everything! The gator is fabulous, and so is the shrimp.
- The boudain balls are "the bomb"! Fried cracklings on the table were good. Anything with the boudain balls mixed in is really good. I don't remember anyone in our party complaining about anything.
- Great food
- Very unhealthy, but delicious. There are healthy options! I got the fried boudin covered in shrimp gumbo.
- We love the boudin! Red beans with dirty rice! Wonderful!
- Their sweet potato fries
- The everything. Food service. Food itself. The cook.
- The BC special!
- Of all the many years of going to that place, I've never been disappointed. The food is great with great service.
- Fried catfish is good. So are the hushpuppies.
- Shrimp lovers platter. Sadly, the Mac and cheese was THE worst i have ever had in my life.
- If it swims (from alligator to fish, shrimp and frog), they serve it and it tastes delicious.
