Tips

  • Ask bartender Haley Bettis to make you her awesome Bloody Mary or her favorite drink to make, an "absolutely filthy, porn-star-dirty martini." And don't leave without trying the crawfish etouffee!
  • The gumbo's good, but not the best. The touffe, fried alligator, shrimp, catfish, and the red beans and rice are fantastic! Don't leave without trying the boudin!!!
  • BC Special is one of the best things I have ever eaten.
  • Really good chicken and sausage gumbo! And OMG.. the bread!!
  • Good food but to pricey
  • The bread is amazing. Hot & very fresh.
  • Be sure to get the Boudin ball.
  • Fried Pickles and Gumbo are fantastic. Make sure the get the Spicy Fried Pickles.
  • Everything! The gator is fabulous, and so is the shrimp.
  • The boudain balls are "the bomb"! Fried cracklings on the table were good. Anything with the boudain balls mixed in is really good. I don't remember anyone in our party complaining about anything.
  • Great food
  • Very unhealthy, but delicious. There are healthy options! I got the fried boudin covered in shrimp gumbo.
  • We love the boudin! Red beans with dirty rice! Wonderful!
  • Their sweet potato fries
  • The everything. Food service. Food itself. The cook.
  • The BC special!
  • Of all the many years of going to that place, I've never been disappointed. The food is great with great service.
  • Fried catfish is good. So are the hushpuppies.
  • Shrimp lovers platter. Sadly, the Mac and cheese was THE worst i have ever had in my life.
  • If it swims (from alligator to fish, shrimp and frog), they serve it and it tastes delicious.
