Foursquare Tips

  • care for poor women without the company of a man. Food and excessively peppered with burnt onion.
  • The foul medamas is delicious. Meat salteh is spicy, boiling-hot goodness. Fantastic with tanour bread!
  • a humble place reflect how simple & modest the yemeni people, the aroma of spices fill up the air. Mandi & Haneed perfectly made just like home with tender fresh lamb. Adani tea hits the mood spot.
  • .. .. .. ..
  • Great! Loved the bahlava, tea and coffee. Everything is VERY spicy, so be prepared! Pleasantly surprised with the bill :)
  • It's a great place for the people who like to get a heavy meal of meat. Salte is amazing as a starter.

  • love this place, this is the closest I can be to the food back home. I recommend the lamb mandi, chicken mazbi, beef liver, and their complementary tea is perfect! Lovely service but it can be slow
  • The lentil soup is perfect. The foul medames was okay, it had too much onion I thought.
  • Try the Salta!!
  • Hadn't tried Yemeni food previously, so we basically ordered as many of the not-seen-on-other-middle-eastern-menu items as we could, and were pleasantly rewarded with tasty foods. Try it.
  • Hummus is yummy. Sauteed veggies are spicy. Babaganoosh is mediocre.
  • Every time I visit SF I must come here .. Try their Salta and Haneed (lamb) u won't regret it
  • Yummy Haneed
