Tips

  • Tip your barista for good service! :)
  • NOT computer friendly. No outlets. No wifi. The owner(?) told me he didn't want computers in here. Made me feel like I was doing something bad. Won't be coming back. Bummer.
  • Wish they would bring back the live music, late nights and poetry. And the awesome character.. Still good coffee
  • Try a Nanaimo Bar! This is one of the few places I regularly find them...
  • An extremely rude owner who firmly believes that customers are a nuisance. Do not go here
  • Best coffee everrrr! Double short soy banana splits...I highly recommend.
  • Coffee never tasted so smooth and rich - can't have it every day or you won't be able to drink the other stuff
  • Coffee is good. But the owner (the short guy with white hair) is so IGNORANT and ARROGANT that I can't take it anymore..! He has no respect for customers. I will find myself another coffee house.
  • Owner dislikes groups, kicks customers out when there are empty tables. No wifi or power. Coffee is good but there's plenty of good coffee with good customer service in Seattle. Give this place a pass
  • Good food and coffee. Over toasted bagel today. Not sure I like how they make the kids temp hot chocolates. You DON'T add cold milk to steamed milk. They don't believe in customer service.
  • Takes a bit longer than most places, but they have good stuff. Just be prepared to wait.
  • Get the cappuccino. This shop really knows how to steam some milk!
  • No WiFi. No Outlets. Cash only = Lame. Besides that, great coffee, great baristas, a lot of history and a great atmosphere = Awesome.
  • Great coffee but NO wifi and NO power outlets.
  • Luddite's paradise! Discharge your phones, grab abacus and sip forbidden coffee house specials! AAA coffee, B for Boring.
  • Limit on how long you can stay.
  • Try the Roma sandwich. It's heavenly.
  • Great place to chat w/ friends over a coffee & perhaps a pastry, soup, or sandwich, but not so much for studying or reading.
  • Fantastic coffee! Smooth, fresh and full-flavored without a hint of acidity. The Breakfast Sandwiches are awesome, and the Apple Tart is first-class. A community treasure here in Redmond.
  • No wifi, no credit cards. But the almond roca mocha and a heated almond twist = the perfect breakfast.
