Bordeaux White Blends

Known in California, and increasingly in other regions, as "Meritage" wines, these are wines that seek to emulate the wines of Bordeaux by blending sauvignon blanc, sémillion, and occasionally muscadelle du bordelais (with no one varietal accounting for more than 90 percent of the finished wine).

Serve With

Fish and shellfish, especially when cooked in cream sauce; roast, grilled, or fried chicken; mildly seasoned pork roast or chops.
