Maria Zoitas is the creative force behind "Maria’s Homemade," a line of prepared food sold exclusively at Westside Market NYC. Maria runs the kitchen in all three Westside Market NYC locations. She reinvents family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, giving them a fresh new flair to meet her customers' ever-changing tastes and today's health needs. Great taste is second nature to Maria, as she was born and raised on the island of Lefkada where her mother shared the secrets of traditional Greek cooking, teaching her how to work with healthful ingredients like grains and legumes. From wheat berry granola and almond pudding to savory moussaka, it's worth discovering Maria's creations for yourself.
