Tips
- Fried quail whispers of ginger, garlic, oyster sauce but shouts of white pepper. Delicious. Sliced pork sausage eaten with matchsticks of fresh ginger is charcuterie by way of Southeast Asia.
- One of the best dishes here is the tender and savory Ping Lean - grilled beef tongue.
- Naem Khao is a wonderful dish full of flavor and textures, highly recommend! Crispy rice, coconut, lime, scallions, sour pork, peanuts, cilantro, with lettuce wraps.
- The curry and beef jerky appetizers were the best things on the menu. Coconut curry soup was tasty.
- If you're waiting for a table order a drink at the bar and snack on the crispy delicious Lao Curry Puffs
- The Chuenh Tofu is a divine appetizer - crispy tofu, spicy house sauce, and scallions.
- Be adventurous; your tastebuds will thank you.
- Any of the noodle disheswow.
- The pork jerky and the alligator laab were the best dishes we ordered, Id recommend both!
- The Jungle Menu
- VERY Spicy options.
- Fantastic Laotian food. Naem Khao is a super tasty coconut rice salad with sour pork; Piing pork skewers with spicy chili sauce delicious too.
- All good. Wings, jerky, soups.
- Definitely the SIIN/MUU HAENG W beef, NAEM KHAO, and pumpkin sticky rice dessert.
- Crispy tofu!!!
- Not the best Laotian I had, but decent food. Beef jerky is good.
- Beef jerky is great, wings and curry puffs are very fried.
- Best damn curry of my life. Jungle menu (specifically the spicy papaya salad) is for fun, adventurous masochists.
- Everything on the jungle menu is super spicy. Overall amazing flavor and the fish wrapped with nana leaf is great.
- some of the best food I've had in DC. Try the skewers, fried rice, and the sausage if you're trying to play it safe.
