Tips

  • Scenic views, playground for all ages, and if you walk the trail halfway, there's a great spot right on the water to take a break so you can enjoy the view of Lake Washington and skip some rocks
  • We dare you to walk the 2.5 mile path loops around the waterfront and then go view the 100 of kinds of birds they have around the children's play area.
  • The upper trails are great to run on and it's actually hard to get lost. This is my all time favourite park in Seattle.
  • There is plenty of parking atop the hill. The trail is 3 miles long, a good hour long walk

  • Go to Seward Park. Walk or bike to the north most tip. Find a bench or an open spot on the beach. Enjoy yourself.
  • My favorite park in Seattle. I love that you can walk right by the water, or in the old growth forest, or do both! And you can catch gorgeous glimpses of Mt. Rainier here.
  • Do not be afraid of the volcano in the distance! It hasnt erupted in a long time.
  • There are many trails and sights to see. Just remember that you are not the only one on the path. Be respectful to others.
