  • We dare you to count the number of Dale Chihuly glass sculptures in the museum. Then go to the outdoor sculpture garden and find out the name of the large Chihuly in the middle of the garden.

  • Nick Cave exhibit is a must see. Genius.
  • Amazing variety of exhibits. Also the price of your ticket can be applied to membership OR you can go to the Asian Art Museum for free within 7 days of SAM trip.
  • NYCers: dual members and up of the Whitney get in for free. Always interesting rotating exhibitions. The Cai-Guo Qiang piece in the lobby is mesmerizing
  • Loved the mythical section where you can find several paintings of Venus, Zeus and Cupid. Also the Egyptian, French and Roman sections are really good. I'm definitely going back to that museum.
