- Scholz bills itself as the oldest bar in Texas - they've been serving politicos, college students and other faithful lovers of their German biergarten food for well over 100 years. [Eater 38 Member]

- Bavarian pretzel is delish and perfect with beer.
- Try the 512 IPA. Great local beer!
- Crowded when events are going on
- German potato salad

- Super charming BierGarten where fixtures were imported from Germany in the 1880s. Had the pretzel. Didnt have anything else and it was divine.
- The brat I got was absolutely flavorless. But I do recommend the giant soft pretzel.
- Outstanding bier and atmosphere. Austoberfest was a blast. Looking forward to bowling lanes opening back up.
- The brisket is meh.
- The giant pretzel is a great way to start your meal and the brats and German potato salad should not be missed.
- Ordered a beer, waiter never came back to get out food order. So, after 30 mins of waiting, we got up and left without paying. This place is always understaffed.
- The beer selection here is great, and the food is pretty salty but definitely filling.
- The schnitzel is just ok. The service was just ok. The environment is just ok. That said the beer is great and it's an institution.
- Favorite go-to for a great beer, lunch or appetizer.
