Foursquare Tips

  • The pastrami was fantastic. They call it "smoked meat" on the menu.
  • Drink of the week: Rye's signature Shtetl Bunny is Slivovitz, the oft-maligned Eastern European brandy made by fermenting crushed plums and their pits.
  • Friendly staff!
  • Get the grilled salami -- it'll make you wonder why you dont eat hot salami more often.
  • Love the turkey pot pie!
  • Super friendly staff ... Deserves to be said twice. Smoked meat fantastic. Awesome horseradish.
  • Deli debris is yummy! Day old bagels sliced & toasted, pastrami, celery, cheese, peppers. Like nachos. Nomnomnomnom!
  • The "Reason for Rye" is the reason you should come here. It's corned beef with chopped liver, red onion & spicy mustard. They've also got a full bar and 8 craft taps including Flat Earth Cygnus X-1.
  • Their house cured corned beef is epic.
  • Richard is a tremendous bartender. Sit at the bar and chat with him.
  • Hot turkey sandwich is incredible. Awesome gravy.
  • Try the Mac & Cheese. It is big enough for dinner
  • "Anytime a person goes into a delicatessen and orders a pastrami on white bread, somewhere a jew dies" - Milton Berle *LOVE IT*
  • Steel Toe Provider is off the chains ;)
  • Great pastrami!
  • Behind the bar, Jacob, is the coolest. Bubbi would love the cheese curds, as long as she didn't keep kosher. Cheese cake ain't bad.
  • The fried kreplach should become part of your daily routine!! The deli debris on the other hand is nothing more then nachos on bagel chips!
  • Order the challah french toast, a near dessert-like experience, with a lush, custard-y interior and a bronze crunch on the outside, finished with a maple syrup and local Hope Creamery butter.
  • They got rid of the kids menu. Lame.
