Foursquare Tips

  • The specials here are awesome! Come Monday, Wednesday, or Sunday!
  • sake bombs with the wait staff
  • Favorite weeknight sushi place. Beware you do take your shoes off, keep feet/socks "appropriate".
  • Get half price short rib set on Monday. Go during happy hour for a cheap pitcher, too.
  • The Kobe Assortment for Two is a must have! And beef tongue!
  • Try the Kobe Beef Plate - This rocks!!
  • best shrimp dumplings
  • Best beef tongue ever! Get it on sushi or grill it!
  • If you're a party of two get two sets of meat to share and get one order of bibimbap instead of rice for $5 more dollars. Choose green tea ice cream for your dessert.
  • Really great food! They do different discounts on different days (and time of day). Have to take your shoes off inside. Very friendly staff. 2 Japanese beers on tap.
  • Great Happy hour and delicious Japanese BBQ!
  • Wear clean socks, Service is great, I'm not a huge fan of Japanese food, but this place is cool for starters. If you are a beer drinker, you gotta get that Ichiban Malt!
  • Always excellent. The bacon wrapped asparagus and the miso-marinated beef were standouts.
  • This Japanese BBQ place is better than any similar place in k-town. The Zei special for 2 or 4 will fill you up. Obviously, don't go with vegetarian friends.
  • Dark lighting.
  • happy hour is basically a wallet-dream come true! with deals on beer & sake, there's no question that you can 1) order all the beefs and 2) add that bibimbap for $5
  • Get the short rib and the spicy tuna is so shitty it's amazing
  • Traditional seating, great for a date or groups.
  • Sit upstairs. grill all the things. Have a big group? grab the party room in the back and order way too many chuhais.
  • Hands down one of my favorite restaurants of all time! Japanese grill + sushi = happiness. Remember to wear socks because you'll be taking off your shoes here...
