Foursquare Tips

  • This may sound weird, but the restrooms are very entertaining!
  • Vegetarian sliders are the best! Deeply impressed.
  • Import beers galore. You can't go wrong.
  • Bottle beers can be pricey but a good rotating selection and small shared plates
  • Order a Pimms (only place I've found in Vancouver that uses cucumber like the British do)
  • Order the House Fries. No need to add the bacon, and you can request for a side of ketchup! Also one of the better places in Vancouver for Mac n Cheese (not too heavy/greasy)! Drink choice: Pimms.
  • Best selection of Belgian beers in town. Can't go wrong with a Belgian beer!
  • Grab the menu, flip the pages and plop down your finger. order that beer, drink, and repeat
  • Best selection of import bottles in Vancouver
  • Really loved this place, great service, interior, and food. We had the fries (really really good, but quite a large portion), excellent classic sliders, and fantastic mac and cheese!
  • Great selection of beers and whiskeys!!
  • The gorgonzola hot pot is amazing!
  • Unique little spot in Gas Town. Great selection in beers. Will definitely go back when I visit Van City again :)
  • I had the sliders here once (mini-burgers); Best burgers I've ever had, period.
  • mac and cheese, wash down with Peroni.
  • don't have a girl sit on your knees because it drives the manager crazy! really (he will ask the girl to not sit on your knees) (really)
  • Order a "Duchess" beer - a Flemish cask aged red ale, that tastes a bit like fruit, and a bit like balsamic vinegar.
  • How not to love this place? Unpretentious, great beer menu and tasty food. The meatballs were delicious and from 17h-19h they have a happy hour menu.
  • Drink menu looked good and we loved the atmosphere, but service was slow and desserts were just ok.
  • When in Rome.
