  • Small, casual and well priced, chef Kevin Naderi deftly balances New American techniques with his Persian heritage to make dishes like roasted cauliflower topped with bonito flakes. [Eater 38 Member]
  • They don't take reservations for smaller groups.
  • Very nice, casual and intimate place. Their signature cauliflower and bread/butter flight appetizers are amazing! The menu is seasonal and I've yet to be disappointed!!
  • Kevin Naderi has created Roost as a reflection of his own culinary inspirations: Its farm-to-table, by way of Persian, Japanese, Thai, Korean & Mediterranean flavors alongside local craft beer.
  • Well priced, cozy -amazing smells from the kitchen spur menu curiosity. My friend had the pork chop and I had the oven roasted chicken breast. Both are recommended along with house wine selections.
  • A genuine jewel in Montrose. Ask for Kevin owner/chef to have a word. Excellent service and trendy food. An intimate experience in a neighbourhood restaurant. Excellent
  • They change out the menu every 3-4 weeks so you always have new items to try. But the roasted cauliflower -It's always there & the sauce is amazing!!

  • Cauliflower for the win!
  • The Famous Fried Cauliflower
  • Cauliflower rightfully deserves the hype. Crab cake is pure crab, no added flour nonsense, so definitely get that, too. Scallops were super tender and well seasoned
  • Stopped in here driving from New Orleans to Austin. Fantastic meal. The fried cauliflower was amazing, beef short rib incredible and the gulf fish with cheesy grits was delicious. Menu is seasonal.
