Tips

  • Pro tip: Since it's a Dominican restaurant, don't order the Cuban Sandwich or the friendly servers will judge you. The burger's great (and not Cuban).
  • happy hour 4-7p includes $1 empanadas.. red sangria is tasty but strong!
  • $5 happy hour sangria --berry,white or red
  • Wonderful food. Amazing white sangrias. Make sure you have cash...no credit cards allowed.
  • Amazingly cheap for the food and quality atmosphere. The hot sauce is homemade and insanely good.
  • New favorite place. Super yummy food (I thought it might be very oily but it turned out to be not greasy at all) and really fun place to go out!
  • Oxtail stew all the way. And the Dominican style rice and sweet plantain *salivating*
  • The Passion Fruit Mimosa is everything.
  • Tilapia for $10 is a steal comes with rice and beans an a whole lot of flavor!!! Can't lose try the homemade hot sauce
  • Delicious and beautiful, earthy, laidback vibe. Everthing was delicious including the cheese empanadas and cuban sandwich. My son decided its his new favorite place
  • Tres leches the best. ;) ;)
  • Delicious, affordable, great staff, overall good vibe. As a vegetarian, pleased to have enjoyed a delicious veggie mofongo. I'll be back!
  • Puerto Viejo is a Dominican bistro that has the expected Dominican dishes like sancocho with pieces of chicken and pork and tender roasted pernil. The homemade habanero hot sauce is a must.
  • They have the best happy hour! $1 empanadas and $5 sangrias- amazing!
  • delicious mofongo and great empanadas and sangria. happy hour deals are incredible. very homey vibe.
  • Sangria's are so good!!
  • Great happy hour: $5 sangria and $1 empanadas! So good!
  • Try the pasteln (aka sweet plantain lasagna) and empanadas. Delicious!
  • Over priced, not authentic, salty food with no flavor. Poor service, one waiter for the entire restaurant.
  • $5 breakfast, $6 lunch!
